Pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1B (PHP-1b) is a type of pseudohypoparathyroidism (PHP) characterized by localized resistance to parathyroid hormone (PTH) mainly in the renal tissues which manifests with hypocalcemia, hyperphosphatemia and elevated PTH levels.
